Dana L. Pointer

Dana L. Pointer serves as Fund Controller and Chief Compliance Officer. Mrs. Pointer is responsible for fund administration for the firm's private investment partnerships. Most recently, she was a Vice President and Senior Account Analyst with FTN Financial, a national broker-dealer and a division of First Tennessee Bank. Mrs. Pointer served in multiple roles including Staff Accountant, Compliance Officer and Fiscal Analyst during her 15-year tenure at First Tennessee Bank and FTN Financial. In addition, she served as Chief Compliance Officer of Channing Capital Management from 2003-2005 under dual registration. Mrs. Pointer holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee (B.B.A. in Accounting). She is also a Registered General Securities Principal holding Series 7, 24, 52, 53, and 63 licenses.

Floyd Tyler

PreserverPartners was founded in August 2009 by Floyd Tyler. Prior to forming the firm, Dr. Tyler held various positions at Gerber/Taylor Capital Advisors from June 1999 to June 2009 including director of research, investment management consultant and president of Gerber/Taylor Associates, its $13 billion investment management consulting subsidiary. As director of research, he was responsible for the firm's asset allocation research and investment manager selection. As a consultant, he provided consulting services to institutional clients ranging from $60 million to over $6 billion in assets.  Prior to Gerber/Taylor, he was an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Memphis Fogelman College of Business and Economics from 1996-1999. He received the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in 2000. Dr. Tyler holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee (B.B.A. in Economics) and graduate degrees from Carnegie Mellon University (M.S. in Financial Management) and Florida State University (Ph.D. in Finance).
